Do I need an appointment?

Yes! We work by appointment only. Appointments can start as early as 9:00am and start as late as 7:30pm Monday-Friday. Saturdays, while limited, are available upon request.

What will it cost?

Average cost is $1,200. Price is dependent on the details of the dress. For example a beaded, lace fitted dress with sleeves will not cost the same to alter as a silk strapless ballgown. We are happy to give you an estimated quote or book a consultation appointment at anytime to go over the details in person before you commit.

When do I contact you?

Due to high demand for services, it’s never too early to reach out! Booking in advance will ensure a spot with us as we can only take a certain number of brides for each wedding date. It is ideal to reach out immediately after you purchase your gown.

How many appointments will I need?

Our brides typically have 3-6 fittings, but this is based completely on what is needed/wanted done to the gown. Only need a hem and a bustle? You're looking at 3 appointments. Need it fitted to your body, hem, bustle, custom straps or sleeves, neckline changes etc., steaming of the gown, we get closer to 6+. Average is 4 appointments and a steamed pick up!

When do I book my appointment for?

We think the perfect time to have your first fitting is 3-4 months before your wedding date! Gown not arriving in time? No worries, the quickest we have done is a 3 day turnaround! Of course this isn’t ideal and it comes with a rush fee.

What do I bring to my appointment?

  • Your shoes (Or options if your need to make that decision at our shop!)

  • The underwear or shape wear that you plan on wearing

  • Feel free to bring the jewelry to see your full look!

How long is an appointment?

Appointment slots are booked up to an hour and a half, though most fittings don’t take up all of that time. Your first appointment is typically closer to 30-45 minutes as we will pin the bodice and go over pricing and all the details. Hem or bustle appointments will last a bit longer depending on the number of layers a gown has. Of course how much we chat is a factor as well!

Who can come to my appointment?

We provide seating for 2-3 guests. If you would like to bring an entourage you totally can, please just give us a heads up and we can make arrangements! At your final appointment we suggest that you bring your MOH or someone you trust most to learn how to put up your bustle and practice a time or two before the big day.

When do I pick up my gown?

If you are having us steam and press your gown for the big day we suggest picking up the day before the wedding or the morning of. This ensures that it is freshly pressed! Getting married out of town and traveling with your gown? You will want to make other arrangements for steaming and pick up can be at your convenience, typically no earlier than 2 weeks before the wedding.

What if I live out of state?

No problem! We can work with your schedule and have multiple appointments over a few trip or get it completely done in one trip. Please keep in mind there is additional rush fee, but sometimes its cheaper than several plane tickets to come see us!
